Wayne Norton’s fascinating book about the little-known early history of women’s hockey in western Canada, Women on Ice, seems to be our book of the moment — Wayne Norton has done interviews with CBC radio in Kelowna and Victoria, Studio 4 with Fanny Kiefer in Vancouver, and most recently, the Globe and Mail. Take a look at the Globe and Mail article here!
If you’re going to be in Vancouver on January 24th, you can meet Wayne Norton and hear more about what he has discovered about early women’s hockey. He’ll be at the Rhizome Cafe at 317 E. Broadway from 6pm-9pm for the grand launch of Women on Ice.
