Distinguished Mexican poet, novelist, and environmentalist, Homero Aridjis will be making an appearance at City Lights Books on Tuesday, April 6th at 7:00 pm in celebration of his new poetry collection, Solar Poems. Translator George McWhirter (The Anachronicles) will also be in attendance.

On this very special occasion, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, poet and founder of City Lights Books, will read several poems from the bilingual edition of his book, WHAT IS POETRY?/QUE ES LA POESIA?, which Homero Aridjis translated.
