Anne Stratford is an artist and travelling ESL teacher who loves communicating through different languages, pictures and acting. That Cuthbert and the Merpeople should be her first illustrated book seems especially appropriate; as a child, she longed to be a mermaid when she grew up. Anne Stratford is presently learning from and teaching students in grade six in the Ungava Bay area.
