Acherman, Bitten

Bitten Acherman was born and grew up in Denmark. In 1997 Bitten, with her family, moved to Canada and settled in Burnaby, British Columbia. Lost in Barkerville, a time travel adventure for young readers, is the first installment in a series about life in Barkerville during the 1860’s Cariboo gold rush. In the past, Bitten has won prizes in short story fiction.
